Product of the Week: Elf Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

We are excited because our Elf Waterproof Eyeliner Pen(available from www.eyeslipsface.co.uk for £3.50) have been nominated for the Handbag.com Beauty Awards for Best Eyeliner!

We just wanted to celebrate this great product by promoting it to be our product of the week! Also a little birdie tells us that the winged liner look is going to be bang on trend this season and theres nothing better to use to recreate the look!

Check out Amy's winged eyeliner look created using the elf Waterproof Eyeliner:

How to recreate this look:

Step 1: Cleanse the lid area so you have an oil free canvas to work on, this will ensure that your eyeliner stays put.

Step 2: Take the eyeliner pen and lining starting from the inner corner of the eyes. If you are not comfortable in drawing a line in one stroke, then gently line by doing smaller strokes along the lash line. Make sure you stay as close to the lash line as possible.

Step 3: Extend the liner from the outer corner of the eyes and angle it to meet the lower lash line. Then fill in the gap to create the wing eyed look.

Step 4: Now you can start building up the line and make it as thin or thick as you like. Take the liner and go back over the line you just created. We recommend a thinner line for smaller eyes as too much black liner could make the eyes appear smaller.

Step 5: Using a black pencil liner, line the inner waterline of the upper lashes to fill in the gap between the lashes. This will give the look more depth and will help lashes look fuller and thicker.

Step 6: For added impact, line the lower lash line with the pencil liner, we took the liner about 1/3 in to prevent the eye looking too closed, this will help narrow set eyes appear more wide set too!

Step 7: Finish with 2 coats of your favourite mascara!
